Snyder worked on both books, and oversaw the creative direction of Eternal.JAMES TYNION, IV, though a relatively new writer at the time, would later succeed Tom King as the main writer of Batman (Vol 3), launch the DC Rebirth era of Detective Comics in 2016, as well as become one of the most respected and successful independent comics creators working today with such notable series as Something is Killing The Children, House of Slaughter, Deviant, Blue Book, and Department of Truth.TIM SEELEY, also a newer writer, tackled Eternal as well as his own Vertigo Comics series Effigy at the same time. He'd then go on to create and write DC's Grayson, a James Bond-esque series starring Dick Grayson, and the DC Rebirth series Green Lanterns and Hellblazer, as well as Injustice vs Masters of the Universe.JOHN LAYMAN, the outsider of the group, came to Eternal through his past associations with Jim Lee's former WildStorm Comics. He's most known for his highly acclaimed Image Comics' series, CHEW (2009-2016).
