Description: Rare full set, barley twist farm table + 4 chairs from antique store Busvans in San Francisco. These tables were once used in pubs and work as a kitchen table or game table.Square top and two paneled leaves secured in place (extended position seats 6) with a wooden pegs on the underside of the table. The top comes off and retractable leaves slide on grooves into brackets (just noted one bracket has cracked but still functions) to extend seating from 4 to 6. Hand carved barley twist legs joined by simple X bracket. The table sits on four carved feet.The top does need finishing, but is not damaged in any way.Square top is 35.75 inches in width on all sidesExtended, the top runs 59.5 inches in lengthheight 29.5Best of all is the 4 matching chairs, intact with the same barley twist features on the front legs and braces.
