Auth. Antique French Bronze Frame 1790's Oval Portrait Miniature Signed Lebrun

Description: Authentic Antique French Bronze Frame 18th/19th & hand-painted Oval Portrait Miniature Signed Lebrun French Estate. The hand-painted miniature portrait of a woman with a mob-cap and outfit (circa 1790's) is intriguing as she is depicted with her hair down (very, very rare in this time period- post Louis XVI Period,late 18th C.) Perhaps an intimate gift for a spouse or lover? Portrait is under glass and in excellent condition. The Frame is French and is an authentic, true antique from the very early 19th century and it is valuable in it's own right. It is made of bronze with an easel back and rosettes.The frame is in overall good but used condition, there are some small spots on the bronze front of frame.Specifics:Signed to the left of the shoulder of the woman in the portrait: "Lebrun" This is definitely not the painting style of Vigee Le Brun - (note the spelling difference also). Possibly an artist that worked under Elizabeth Vigee Le Brun and was allowed to sign her/his work with that name?
