Description: For sale is a figurine of a gentleman with a basket by his side made by Augarten in the mid 20th century . The figure is of a street vendor and he is meant to be selling eels but if you'd like to bring him into the 21st century we could just say he is selling Kale :) The eels are covered in the greenery to keep them cool and moist. He is holding a walking stick in his left and and is superbly modeled with lots of detail and hand painted to perfection.Really a nice model and not one of the more common ones! The figure is in perfect condition and is 6.875 inches tall, 4 inches wide and 2.5 inches deep.
