Description: I am selling my Athearn Genesis HO Scale 4-8-8-4 Union Pacific Big Boy 4016 steam locomotive. I got this steam locomotive from someone who unfortunately removed the decoder and flipped a gear down as he was wanting to turn it into a dummy locomotive, thankfully it has not been turned into that. Another issue is that the original owner also somehow lost the front light on the locomotive. I am throwing this locomotive on here to test the waters and see if anyone is interested, the unit also comes pre weathered already. You can get the proper decoder for this locomotive for roughly around $40-$45 and it will be up and running once more. I’d love to do the work myself but I’m also currently working on getting more modern times locomotives for my son and I on our layout. It could be a fun project for anyone who’s been wanting a big boy unit or for anyone who likes to tinker with locomotive builds
