Description: For sale is this antique Atha 1lb. 14.8 oz. straight peen sledge hammer head. Signed with the famous "A" within the horseshoe logo for Atha, and "1-3/4", it measures 6-3/16" long with a 1-1/4" wide X 1-3/16" tall face, with a 1-3/16" wide X 5/16" thick straight peen, with a 11/16" X 15/16" oval eye. It is in very good overall condition, showing use and wear consistent with its 108 + year old age. Atha stopped manufacturing under this name in 1914, making this hammer over 108 years old.
