Description: Antique Uranium Satin Glass Footed Oil Lamp Base RARE Embossed Floral Brass Foot ~~~~~~~~~~~~ - - Description - - Super rare antique satin uranium/vaseline glass footed Gone With The Wind oil lamp/lantern base with ornate, brass filigree footing. Satin (frosted) green glass with an embossed floral and foliage pattern. Textured design and feel throughout the glass. Intricate, ornate brass filigree base, designed as leaves and cute little flowers. Some areas of the embossed floral pattern are painted white. This listing is for the base of the lamp only - there is no lampshade and there is no vessel fitting with control knob for carrying the kerosene and adjusting. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ - - Measurements - - Measures approximately 11 & 1/2 inches high, 7 inches wide at its widest point, and has a 5 & 3/4 inch diameter at the top, if measured from the far edges of the rim. The actual opening is a 5 inch diameter, measured from the inner part of the rim. The brass base measures approximately 6 & 1/2 inches long by 6 & 1/2 inches wide. On the underside of the brass footing, there is a number stamped in that appears to be "1050", or possibly "1060". ~~~~~~~~~~~~ - - Condition - - Please see all available pictures for most accurate visual representation. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs. Some of the white painted areas, there is quite a bit of paint fading. There are some marks and scuffs or scratches. I believe these are primarily fixable after a cleaning more specific to this type of glass - It's clean, but I am not well versed on special cleaning antique glass, and don't want to use any chemical or anything that may damage it and I will leave this to its next owner. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ - - NOTE - - All glassware and other breakables are double boxed for shipping to ensure safe arrival to their new homes.
