Description: Very nice landscape painting from Sarkis Daltzar Erganian (1874 - 1950) , signed in the lower right of the painting. Turkish born, he later immigrated to Missouri where he was active with the Saint Louis Art Guild known for his landscape and marine paintings. Painting comes in a carved ornate gilded frame. Painting could use a cleaning, photographs show it in indoor and outdoor lighting there is some paint loss and abrasions to the surface. Please review photos for condition. Good opportunity to own a classic painting, he has works of art in the permanent collection of the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. 16 x 20.5 in frame -- painting is 12 x 16.
