Description: For sale is a porcelain plate made by Meissen around 1740. It is hand painted with a few larger and a few smaller flowers scattered throughout in the old Holzschnitt style before Deutsche Blumen became the normal design. The rim has a nice basket weave design to it with a gold trim to the edge. The plate is in great condition with a little wear mostly to the one puce flower as shown. The plate is 1.5 inches tall and 8.75 inches in diameter.
