He collaborated with several other artists, including Cornelis Bogerts (1745-1817), to create elaborate prints of famous Amsterdam landmarks, scenes, and people. Bogerts was also a Dutch draughtsman, engraver, etcher and lithographer, active in the late 18th century. Biography artist: Pieter Barbiers (1717-1780) was a Dutch artist known for his work as a scenic designer and painter. His designs for the Amsterdam theater were highly regarded for their realism and detail. He contributed to many theatrical productions in the 18th century, and his work is still studied for its contributions to stagecraft.
