Description: These stunning antique, authentic Mary Gregory brown salt & pepper shakers are a must-have for any collector of unique and beautiful pieces. Hand painted with intricate attention to detail, they are a true work of art. The main figures are an adorable boy & girl. Salt and pepper shakers are very rare as is the color! I have a large collection, and these are the only pieces in this color and as salt and pepper shakers. These beautiful pieces are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or wear...this is amazing since it is very old (it was in my mother's antique collection, & I am in my 60's; Mary Gregory lived 1856 - 1908!)! The glass was hand blown so it has some bubbles & natural imperfections. I am not sure what the metal material is for the tops (possibly silver). Measures approximately 6" high.
