Description: This listing is for an antique German bisque doll recently purchased from a local doll auction. She was made by Kestner in the early 1900s. Her head is a fine socket type with blue glass sleep eyes. She has upper and lower painted lashes and matte multi-stroke glossy eyebrows. Her lips are red with a faint red outline and she has square cut teeth. She has red accents dots in her nostrils and rosy pink cheeks. Her ears are not pierced and she comes with her original long human hair reddish wig. She stands 15" tall. She is marked "B Made in Germany 6 167 " on the back of her neck and her body is red stamped "Germany 0 3/4" on her back. She has her original white plaster pate marked "B/0" on the top. She is dressed in her original red silk dress. The rest of her clothing are vintage replacements: a pink cotton skirt, white cotton pantaloons and black stockings and yellow oil cloth shoes. Condition: Her bisque head is in good condition but her eyes are slightly loose in the sockets. One of her legs has a replaced thigh piece which is much cruder than the rest of her body and she is missing fingers. There is a lot of wear on the body and some chips around the neck. Her red silk dress is in pretty good condition but has some wear on the ruffles where they are torn and loose from the body of the dress. Her wig needs to be re-styled. Please note: The antique books and doll stand are not included in the listing and are for display purposes only. Be sure to check my listings for more antique and collectible dolls and toys.
