Description: This is an early Staffordshire Pearlware piece from what is commonly referred to by collectors as the Pre-Victorian (1800-1837) period. likely circa 1820 Like many pieces from this time there are flaws - one chip as seen to the underneath of the base, a repair between his head and neck which has been done well, and a line in his cloak as well as wear to the pearl like coating. There isn’t much I can find about this piece - he may well be King Arthur and this particular style of figurine is extremely rare.
