Description: AN ORIGINAL Cup and Saucer MADE IN GERMANY c 1916 ANTIQUE cups & saucer - very shapely with large hand painted red & yellow roses by TRIPLE CROWN CHINA - Unger & Roschuetz, Thuringia, Germany - imported to U.S. by Jon H. Roth, South Bend, Indiana. This cup and saucer has survived over 100 years & was cherished & well cared for they are in excellent condition without damage . They are porcelain with soft luster glaze & gold gilding - white interiors . Exterior background is really pretty with pastels colors, the big red and yellow roses are hand painted and highlighted in white enamel brush slashes. Lush gold gilt fancy edging and gold gilt handles. This original set have pale blue backstamps with TRIPLE CROWN CHINA & the 3 crown logos.
