Description: A antique Powell & Hanmer Ltd front Passengers side car lamp, with large clear glass lens at its front. It has a small red lens on its left side and a bracket to attach it to a car on its left. It is marked on its brass makers plate - POWELL & HANMER LTD MANUFACURERS P.&H. BIRMINGHAM. It is fitted with a brass font with a nickel burner, which is unmarked on its winder button. I don't have a wick of the correct size, but its two cogged wheels for moving the wick are both in place and turning when the wick winder is turned.It's total measurements are approx 11" or 28 cm high x 5 7/8" or 15 cm wide. It is is fitted with a brass font with a nickel burner, which is in a untested condition. It dates to the Edwardian period and is a great piece of motoring history, which is in a used condition with signs of use commensurate with its age and use. Please see photos.
