Description: Antique early vintage Bentwood Windsor wood rocking chair. Painted over in the several decades ago in brown paint that has a little edge and spotty wear through revealing the wood underneath. White paint can be seen on the bottom of the runner's bottom. Stable usable condition with strong joints. 40-1/2 inches tall at the back, 15 inches tall at the front of the seat, 12 inches tall to the seat at the back, back height seat to top back rest is 25 inches, seat width 20 inches at the rolled front rounded over front ant 17 inches across the seat in the back which curves around behind the spindles, seat is 17-1/4 inches from back to front. Rolled rounded curved arms measure following the curve 14-1/2 inches long, 14 inches long arms straight not following the curve. 1-5/8 inches wide, 1-5/8 inches thick, the arms also have a slight taper, 2-3/8 inches thick at the rounded thickest rounded front point of the arms. runners are 29 inches long not including the curve, 1 inch wide and 1-3/4 inches deep. curved bentwood back top is 25 inches long following the curve, and 5 inches tall with a thickness of 5/8 inch.
