Description: If you love the look and feel of old world lanterns then you will be dazzled by this old timer! The chimney is likely a replacement but all in all this is very original and very old. The embossed patent dates, the remnants of the dried up oil, patina and oxidation from it's age will have you wondering if you've stepped back in time! The very simplistic and utilitarian design was marketed towards old factories and Mills back in it's day by F.O. Dewey & Son's, and not a whole lot of this style lamp survived over these last 130 years or so. It has a 5 inch diameter tin base and takes a three inch diameter base chimney. It's still very solid and has no damage or rust through holes or any damage to the glass. A true gem. Thanks for viewing!
