AMAZING Open Work Round Handcarved Wooden Sculpture w/ Elephants Cheetah Rhino

This piece is really incredible. It came from an equally incredible estate of a St. Louis MO resident who travelled the world. Unfortunately, no documention exists to determine where this beautiful carved piece comes from. Despite exhaustive searching, I have not found a similar item. This appears to be carved out of one piece of wood. We failed to find any seams or areas where adhesive was used. There are similar pieces online called "Brush Jars" but this piece doesn't have a bottom and is more like a cylinder. You will note in the pictures that we did place a candle inside to see what it would look like--TOTALLY COOL! At the same time, if you do this please use caution because this is wood and is flammable, of course. Perhaps an electric candle would be a better choice. There are a multitude of ways this piece could be used...or you might just choose to display it as a gorgeous conversation piece--which it is! We will gladly take additional images if you request.
