It has a picatinny mounting plate pre-assembled. Please use the allen wrench provided to take out the 2 hex screws on the top behind the glass frame. It will disconnect the red dot from the picatinny mounting plate. You will then be able to attach the red dot to a variety of handgun mounting plates that are sold separatelyIt also fits C.O.R.E.， however, you need o use 6/32x5/8 cap screws to mount red dots like vortex to a SW MP C.O.R.E. The 6/32x5/8 cap screws are not included, you can get it from a local hardware store like homedepot for less than a quarter. This adapter when used on the S&W M&P C.O.R.E. fits on top of the slide assembly without removing the top plate.It requires 5/8 screws that go through the sight, the mounting plate, the top plate on the slide and into the slide of the firearm. If someone has the #5 plate the gun comes with ( I don't ) they would not need your adaptor and they would mount the sight to the slide using just the #5 plate and not the cover plate that is in place when you are not using any optics Payments are accepted through Paypal.
