Description: "A Photographic History of the University of Arizona 1885-1985" is a 469 page, oblong (11"x8.75") hardcover written and published by Phyllis Ball in 1987. This is the 2nd printing, with corrections. It includes close to 800 vintage b&w photographs of the U of A campus, depicting buildings, events, people, street scenes, etc from the schools initial development into the modern era. There's a building chart showing when each structure was built, by whom, the cost, when additions/alterations were made, demolition date, and what replaced it. The book is in very good condition. The dust jacket has light scuffing and edge wear. The blue cloth boards show minimal wear, though they seem slightly curved. There's a sticker and post-it note (held down by the sticker) on the inside front cover. The interior is otherwise unmarked, and the binding is sturdy. International buyers – please note: Import duties, taxes, and charges aren't included in the item price or postage cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying.
