Description: IRELAND 1 Penny and 2 Pence Bronze (Non-Magnetic) Coins 627 x 1d. Plus 337 x 2d. Nine hundred sixty-four (964) Irish Non-Magnetic Bronze one penny and 2 pence coins, issued 1971 to 1988. These coins are not the later issues that were struck on bronze plated planchets. Rather, this lot consists entirely of the earlier solid bronze coins. Each coin has a metal content of copper that is higher than the coin's face value. Reasonable offers will be considered. This lot cointains: 627 x 1 Penny bronze (non-magnetic) coins, each weighing 3.56 gm. with 20.32 mm diameter KM #20 (Y19), Sp #6709, N #1002, and, 337 x 2 Pence bronze (non-magnetic) coins, each weighing 7.12 gm. with 25.9 mm diameter KM #21 (Y20), Sp #6708, N #952.
