Description: ~*~Hello and Welcome to the Textile Trunk~*~ This lovely textile is American and it dates from the 1800's ~ it's all hand woven with a stunning complex weave. The tone of the red is rather half way between red and terracotta! There is a hand stitched seam that runs the middle. Almost a deep cooked salmon tone. The blue is indigo ~*~ This blanket is heavy weight and would be gorgeous used as a throw, bed cover, upholstery fabric, wall hanging, curtain ~ you name it ~ One side is hemmed with a hand stitched hem and the other sides each have a fringe~ the fringe is missing or shorter on some sides ~ The complex weave is SO beautiful ~ CONDITION : This blanket is in as found, not freshly laundered condition. It can be dry cleaned or hand washed on cold ~ The fringe as mentioned varies in length on each side. When I hold it to the light, I can see some tiny holes here and there ~ Generally lovely however not without signs of time and use often inherent in these wonderful antique textiles! ~*~ MEASUREMENTS : This wonderful textile measures approximately 75 inches by 75 inches.
