Description: You are bidding on a New Old Stock (NOS) M1903A3 Remington rifle barrel. The barrel has been mostly cleaned and there is still some cosmoline. The finish is a dark green. And there is wear on the high edges. Most likely from being in the crate with the other barrel without padding. The barrel is marked RA 2-44 with a P proof on the bottom. The bore is bright and shiny with 2 grooves. The barrel is marked with the heat lot code XA62. The is marked with a heart and a punch mark. The muzzle measures less than one and the breech is also less than one. The front sight base is attached and is marked with an R. NOTE- The barrel is most likely short chambered and will require finish reaming. Have a qualified gunsmith install the barrel and head space it before using.
