Description: This is a very rare and hard to find design from the 1960s by Tonnieshof Carsten’s. It’s a fat lava piece (which refers to the glaze) with mooncrater relief and a ring of sandpaper orange. The mix of blue, orange and brown is distinctly MCM and this piece is an absolute showstopper, perfect for the wall or on a sofa table. Label is in great condition, right in the center. I can’t find many comps on these, honestly I suspect this is a piece from the Luxus line designed by Dieter Peter. But I can’t be sure. All I know is I’ve never seen one like it… This is my hobby so ask me questions- I know a lot and am always learning more! Please view all photos. I do not accept returns. This will be insured for its sale value when shipped via USPS. I double box for safe shipping.
