These are not BATMAN nor STAR TREK. This pilot amazingly never got picked up. (DICK TRACY, SUPERMAN'S(Stamp Day), The PHANTOM, ARCHIE, SEVEN AGAINST THE SEA ( McHale's Navy), PATTY DUKE & Old Time Radio (BATMAN): Disc 1: Starts with the 28 minute Dick Tracy Pilot, transforming cartoon Tracy to live Tracy. Next, is 17 minutes of the original George Reeves(Superman's Stamp Day, which you get to see him promoting U.S.Saving Stamps for U.S. savings bonds). This film was donated Publicly and hard to find. It was produced in the later 50's. Next, is 25 minutes of the 60's The Phantom cartoon hero, comes alive. The Phantom 1961 Pilot has a special guest star appearance by the original Phantom of the Opera and legend Lon Chaney! And, last to watch on this disc is 34 minutes of the original cartoon strip Archie and his Riverdale High crowd, who come to the live screen in this 1964 TV Pilot. John Simpson as Archie, along with Reggie, Jughead and the rest of the gang. Funny that, some of the cast in this Pilot (that did not make it), went on to many other roles in shows that did. Disc 2: Star Treks William Shatner Starring side by side with Batman's Adam West in this long lost 60's classic 51 minutes of ALEXANDER THE GREAT. I do not know of any other film that exists starring these two great legends! Next, Fred Astaire's Premiere Theatre presents: 1962 SEVEN AGAINST THE SEA. This Pilot starred Ernest Borgnine as Lieutenant Commander Quinton McHale. It started as a setting in the Pacific theatre of World War 2. The Pilot was picked up, and interestingly it started as serious and went on to be transformed into a mega giant comedy McHale's Navy! The rest is history. Next, The Pilot comedy of the Famous Patty Duke show. Starring Patty Duke in this 28 minute classic. Lastly, The only known one to exist of the famous 1939 audio Old Time Radio's: Batman's Mystery Club; 12 minutes long called Monster of Dumphry. With over 4 hours, their is something for everyone. Watch some of your cartoon Legends come to life. These are compilations for collectors and hobbyist that want to enjoy found bits of nostalgic history! A REAL TREAT.
