Description: This listing is for a pair of old vintage box style fender skirts for 1941-1948 Ford cars, should also fit same-year Mercury but check the height measurement to make sure your rear fender trim won't run into the skirt if you want to put these on a Mercury, some Mercury models had extra fender stainless on them that may interfere with the fit. Note that these have the flare at the bottoms, someone is making new steel skirts but they're just flat at the bottom, they don't have the flared lip on them like this old set has. This set is very solid, not rusty or pitted or repaired, but there is a long, shallow dent in one of them where it brushed up against something, you can see it if you look closely in the closeup pictures, I did my best to capture it although it's hard to see in pictures. Should dolly out easy enough. Also someone drilled two holes in each skirt and had these mounted to their car with screws. Personally I'd weld those up as I think the screw mounting looks bad, they didn't come like that. With the dent worked out and the holes welded up, this is a great set of skirts, and I personally like the flared ones better than the new smooth ones, but that's my personal opinion. Not sure if these were actually offered by Ford or if they're just old aftermarket ones, no guarantees there. Usually I can ship stuff out within a couple days, but once in a while the shop is busy and it'll take a bit longer. Let me know if you need this right away and I'll see what I can do.Feel free to email me with any questions.
