All were published more than 50 years ago and are full-page color ads measuring 10.5 x 13.5 inches in size. All four feature Santa Claus promoting their candy. One ad is dated Dec. 17, 1955, and shows BOB HOPE wearing an absurd Santa Claus beard that doesnt disguise him in the slightest, as he recommends Page & Shaw chocolates. The text says HOPE is not foolingthey just dont make em any better than Page & Shaw Par Excellence. The box of candy which is illustrated cost $2.00. The sheet is in fine condition. The other 3 pieces advertise Whitman Chocolates. Their headlines are: 1947: It Wouldnt Be Christmas Without Whitmans Chocolates A Woman Never Forgets the Man Who Remembers. Near Fine condition, with an almost imperceptible dampstain spot in the bottom edge margin. 1952: It Wouldnt Be Christmas Without Whitmans Chocolates. This ad shows 5 different boxed variety of chocolates from Whitmans. This ad has some wear and scuffing. 1958: Like Santa himself . . . Whitmans Chocolates belong with Christmas!
