Description: 2006 2nd Lebanon War: Israel-Hezbollah - a scent tree thrown out from Israeli aircraft in southern Lebanon The Second Lebanon War took place between Israel and Hezbollah in the summer of 2006 in Lebanon and northern Israel. The war lasted 34 days, from July 12 until the ceasefire on August 14. On the last day of the fighting, before the ceasefire, an Israeli plane threw scents trees at the population of southern Lebanon. The scent trees are shaped like the Lebanese cedar, with the head of a Hezbollah leader peering out of the tree.
