The coverage area extends from San Clemente to Tijuana, including La Jolla, Mission Beach, Escondido, Rancho Bernardo, Oceanside, Carlsbad, and the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. On the reverse side there is an index to streets, golf courses, recreation areas, and other points of interest. This map was published by the Automobile Club of Southern California in 1979 and is dated in the legend. It is identifed in the lower corner as map # 2377, and the code on the cover is 3-79.
