Description: This very rare 1962 Marhoefer driver complete set is from the "carbking" collection. The set consists of 16 cards that vary in condition and measure roughly 5.25" x 4". Numerous pictures were taken to assist with the condition and content of the Marhoefer cards. The Marhoefer Meatpacking Company was founded in 1901 as the Kuhner Packing Company. The Marhoefer family would take over in 1945. Based in Muncie, Indiana, the company would aggressively advertise their sausages and hot dogs in conjunction with the local Indianapolis 500. These cards were produced as part of the packaging for their products. The staining seen on the back of these cards is not unusual.
