Description: This Barbie was made in 1960. She is dressed in a beautiful handcrafted outfit with hat and parasol. The doll is 11" tall. With the feather hat this doll is 13" tall and is on a stand. The outfit was handmade by a mother for her daughter. Since 1984 it was kept in a glass case, so it is excellent condition. In a note to her daughter, the mother describes the meaning of the white fabric and the red roses and notes that the buttons are antique and even the underwear is old fashioned. A lot of love went into this beautifully crafted outfit made by a mother for her daughter.
