Niagara Falls - The Horseshoe, or Canadian section, of Niagara Falls, under the knife of face-lifters for a year, begins to show its new appearance. At left is Terrapin Point on Goat Island, which separates the American and Canadian portions of the Falls. The point was rebuilt and the channel deepened to spread out the flow of water. A similar project is underway on the Canadian flank. Photo measures 10 x 6.25 inches. Photo is dated -- 1955.
