Description: I am breaking up a complete 1953 Bowman football set. I will keep a couple for my collection. The set is in mixed condition, mostly VG/Ex. Many of these cards came in a trade in the 50's and the fellow they were obtained from had placed his "stamp" on the reverse of many of them. This was OK then, better than gluing them in a scrapbook. It turns out not to have been a great idea. That was 70 years ago. This second year short printed Frank Gifford card has no creases but has the "stamp" on the back. . See scans.
