Description: A stunning 1940s peplum dress. This wool dress is adorned with crocheted details on collar, sleeves, and peplum. It buttons down the front with round pewter toned buttons and fastens at waistline with hook and eye closure. It features a red toned top and skirt striped in red, pink, cream, teal, blue, yellow and orange. Label : Unmarked Fabric Content: light to mid weight wool with some itchiness if worn right next to the skin - I would recommend a slip if you are wool sensitive. Approximate Size: Small. The dress displays a scattering of beige spots on a couple of the off-white stripes of the skirt - these might come out if you take the dress to a trustworthy dry cleaner. My local dry cleaner didnt get them out, but they are not a great dry cleaner. There is one gap in the crochet at back side neck, one small threadbare hole on the back of the skirt - less than 1cm wide and 1/2 cm tall, and a fade line on the left sleeve that is evident in a couple of the photos.
