The Cowlitz Glacier is 3.48 miles long, with a highest elevation of 11,137 feet and a lowest elevation of 5,232 feet. Located on the northern slope of Mount Rainier. The Winthrop Glacier is 4.86 miles long, with a highest elevation of 14,305 feet and a lowest elevation of 4,852 feet. The glacier is named after Theodore Winthrop, who was the first tourist to visit the area in 1853. these are labeled on back in pencil as to location~the date is my best guess.The group photo has some marks which are printed into photo and not on it. 2.75"X4.50" good conditionI often show a high contrast close up however actual images is closer to second scan Mailed with cardboard for stability.
