Description: Very nice antique small size totem pole in the best all original dry paint, patina & condition. This is a really nice example, the carving details, great paint and wonderful old patina makes this much better then your average run of the mill totems. The surface is completely undisturbed, it has a nice built-up accumulation of dust. There is some printed information on the back but it is difficult to read. I believe this is from Alaska. A unique aspect is that the circular base has carved hash marks across the surface. Perhaps this will help identify where this is from and who carved it. This is a rather small size, only 5 1/2" high. I believe this is a true treasure. You will not be disappointed with this little gem!
