TRAVEL IN 1915 - Electric Tram on the Burton & Ashby Light Railways by HAMILTON ELLIS. One of a series of 24 Travel-In carriage prints commissioned by George Dow for the BR LMR - see list below.The painting is by the renowned railway artist and author, Cuthbert Hamilton Ellis. These prints are very collectable. Overall Print Size 25" x 10" (635 x 254mm), Image Size 23" x 7.5". The print survived from a railway carriage at Wymondham scrapyard in the1970s and is NOT a reproduction. It is in good, general used condition for its age with minor marks. Note: Original style Frames, styrene glass & backing boards, hangers etc are available if required on ebay under search "railway carriage print frames".
