These cards come with three different backs: Piedmont 350 (the most common), Old Mill (rarer and more sought after), and Brown Hindu (the rarest of the three). On the Player - Edward Lyon Reagan (1885-1964) was a lifelong Georgian who spent 11 challenging seasons in the lower levels of minor league baseball, primarily as a shortstop and second baseman. His professional baseball journey began in 1906 with the Cordele Babies of the Georgia State League, a Class D league. Throughout his career, Reagan remained in Class C and D leagues, logging over 3,000 at-bats with a modest batting average around .200. He played for teams such as the Monroe Municipals, Crowley Rice Birds, and Meridian White Ribbons. In 1910, Reagan briefly ascended to Class A baseball, appearing in 10 games for the New Orleans Pelicans of the Southern Association. During this stint, he batted .219 with seven hits in 34 at-bats. Though his time at the higher level was short, it earned him a place in the famed T206 baseball card set, alongside legends like Ty Cobb and Christy Mathewson. Despite his humble statistics, Reagan’s inclusion in the T206 set solidified his place in the history of baseball collectibles, linking him to the golden age of the sport, and telling the story of a man who played for love of the game.
