Description: Original 1898 copy "Archaeological Survey of Egypt: A Collection of Hieroglyphs, a Contribution to the History of Egyptian Writing." The book is overall in good condition with some signs of wear and age. The covers have some moderate wear. There is some cracking to the interior hinges, but the binding of the book is still good and sound. There is a later gift inscription to the front fep. The interior is lightly toned from age with just some occasional light foxing and grubbiness. There is about an inch & a half tear to the top margin of the "Plates" half title page. Along with that there may be the occasional page with kind of other minor imperfection such as a creased page corner, other tiny chip or tear, minor stain or marking, etc. Generally though, it's a good copy. The book measures approximately 12 5/8 inches by 10 5/8 inches and is 74 pages long with 9 color plates as called for. Please look at all of the photos to further note the condition.
