Description: This listing is for a vintage 1883 East Tennessee/Virginia/Georgia Railroad Pass/Business Card Southern Railway. This is a Employee's Pass from the East Tennessee, Virginia and Georgia Railroad. The pass was used by W.W. Lowry of Riceville, Tenn. Also, is what appears to be some sort of business card that has been hand written white on black. The card measures 1-7/8" x 3-7/16". The pass measures 2-3/4" x 4-9/16". The pass shows an old crease, some smudging and a tiny missing corner at the top right. This is one of the railroads that preceded Southern Railway (it became Southern in 1894).
