Many departments and commissions are included such as Highways, Water, Sewer, Schools, Fire and the Lighting of Street Lamps (electricity) with all having a Blue Cover Page. 15 plates are included in the City Sewer Section and several photos are shown in this listing, see 3-6 photos. Full 1874 Map (torn and loose) of City Sewer Lines are shown in photos 7 and 8. This Book is packed with information relivant to the Post Civil War Industrial Age Growth of this New England City. Photo 9 will show one page of research data regarding rain fall depth for the sewer department for the years 1832-1873. There is no total page number as each section will start at Page 1. Consevatively 800 pages and most likely 1000+. Volume is 9" x 5 3/4" and 3 1/4" thick. Spine Cover and Boards are quite worn. Pages are clean and very legible. I will place the book in plastic in case of rain and pack well. Please enlarge each photo for a better view of condition.
