Description: Measures 18 inches by 11½ inches. Dated 20 May 1613. People named in the agreement are: • Francis Barrington of Barrington Hall in the County of Essex, Knight Baronet and Dame Joan his wife. • Robert Hunter of Clavering in the same County, Husbandman. Relates to the Grant and Farm Let of a piece or parcel of arable land lying in Clavering in a common field called Statfold?? containing three acres. The lease is for 21 years. CONDITION. Contents complete. No holes or tears. Good clean condition. The old style handwriting is a little hard to read but all ink is clear and free of fading.
