This lovely antique piece is in excellent condition and shows hardly any signs of wear. The pendant was handmade in Italy at the 561st jewelry shop by talented Italian artisans.These jewelers are rich in the tradition of jewelry making dating back thousands of years.The raised relief heart-shaped cameo was hand-carved into the shape of a beautiful woman from the historical 1920's era.The design is embossed and sits on top of a red carnelian gemstone that glows beautifully under the light.The cameo was bezel-set, by hand, in a thick 14kt yellow gold heart-shaped frame.The bail opens up like an earring back and is attached to the mounting so the pendant dangles at an angle when worn.
