Description: A beautiful collectible set of four U.S. postage stamps issued on July 19th, 1948 to honor a century of women's progress. The stamps depict the portraits of three women (Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Carrie Chapman Catt and Lucretia Mott) who advanced the cause of women's rights, the anti slavery movement and women's suffrage. These stamps have never been used and are as fresh as the day they were sold at the post office over 75 years ago! Suitable for framing, they would make a great gift for anyone interested in women's rights! Look in my other auctions for other stamp blocks of historical significance including blocks dedicated to women's rights and a block featuring Susan B. Anthony from 1936! All stamps are Mint Never Hinged. Shipping is $1.00 for first class mail. Additional stamp block auctions won, paid for in one COMBINED transaction and shipped at the same time are only 25 cents extra per auction (sheets and booklets not included), with a maximum shipping charge of $5.00, no matter how many auctions you win. Please pay for all of your auctions in one payment. All payments are to be in US currency only. I send stamps out when I receive your payment or the day after if the mail has already gone out. Thanks for looking at my auction. If you have any questions, please email me before bidding.
